K4 – Prime Contractor on Seaport-e IDIQ
Falls Church, VA, August 2010 – K4 Solutions, Inc. (K4) announced today that it is a prime contract awardee for the $5.3 billion Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Seaport Enhance (Seaport-e) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). This contract vehicle utilizes a Web-based, e-business procurement portal to facilitate performance-based service acquisition, leverage buying power, improve business intelligence, and reduce cycle time for Naval acquisitions and procurements.
K4 will provide a wide range of engineering, technical, and programmatic support services for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). K4 will supply the expertise and full-service management team necessary for each individual task order throughout the United States. “K4 exemplifies its ability to provide solutions and effectively manage those solutions nationwide,” says Tom Park, K4′s Seaport-e Contract Manager. Mr. Park boasts 25 years of Naval experience, including 4 years as an employee of NAVSEA.
