Falls Church, Va., May 1, 2012– K4 continues to support organizations whose mission improves the global community. K4 is sponsoring Global Children Foundation’s first annual Global Giving 8k through a donation of $2,000 and will have employees participating in the walk. The 8K will begin on Sunday May 6th at 8AM on the scenic trail in Burke Lake Park and all participants will receive free t-shirts, wrist-bands, food, and water at the event.
“Employees at K4 Solutions take pride in helping organizations and charities in the community, helping make a positive influence in someone’s life. We are thrilled to participate in such a wonderful event and organization – the Global Children Foundation’s first annual 8K. The GCF’s primary focus is to end children’s starvation, and provide food and assistance to needy children around the world; primarily, innocent victims affected by economic hardships, epidemics, social disturbances, wars, and natural disasters. All proceeds from the event go directly to the cause, and we are delighted to help make a difference in a child’s life,” says Alexandra Baird K4 employee.
Friends, Family and those who would like to participate are encouraged to come out for the event. Registration can completed at http://globalchildren.org/EngVersion/globalgiving8k/
